TREKKING

For mountain lovers, the great expanse of Lagorai offers paths for all levels, with routes that also wind along the defense line of the First World War (Path of Peace), between fortifications, pastures and huts. Of particular beauty, the Val dei Mocheni – Bernstol a few km by car. An enchanted valley, dotted with farmsteads and huts. We recommend the excursion to Lake Erdemolo (2040 m) and Rifugio Sette Selle and a visit to Maso Filzerhof.

The Pinè plateau, with its two lakes, offers walks, horseback riding or mountain biking. Suggestive routes wind around Lake Levico and Lake Santa Colomba, surrounded by Scots pine woods. Numerous paths start from here, such as the Sentiero dei Canopi, medieval silver miners. The wonders of Arte Sella are 40 km away.

LAKES AND SPAS

Wunderhorn is surrounded by an area dotted with lakes, which can be reached in a maximum of 30 minutes by car. From the idyllic small Santa Colomba Lake to the large Caldonazzo Lake and Levico Lake, both suitable for swimming, where in the warmer months it is possible to rent sailboats, kayaks, canoes and skates. In Levico Terme there is also the historic spa center of the early twentieth century, where it is possible to carry out both medical treatments (baths – muds – aerosols) and wellness treatments.
The Merano Thermal Baths are an hour’s drive away.

BIKE

Wunderhorn is located at the mouth of the Valsugana, a real paradise for bicycle lovers. A long cycle path starts from Pergine and winds along the Brenta river for 52 kilometres. High-altitude bike lovers will find satisfaction among the routes of varying difficulty of the Lagorai and the Pinè plateau. The cycle paths also start from Trento which, among the vineyards of the Adige Valley, lead to Rovereto to the south and to Mezzocorona to the north.
